Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have Experience in a strategic insights/consumer research role, preferably within CPG
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in various market research techniques, including both qualitative and quantitative methods and have experience working with both primary and secondary data sources
- The candidates should have a solid understanding of syndicated research tools (Nielsen, and Circana) and have proven experience with agile research tools, methodologies, and applications
- The candidates should possess an understanding of marketing processes, business planning, and marketing strategy
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and commitment to results and should have the confidence to adapt to and lead changing priorities
- The candidates should have strong storytelling skills and the ability to influence all levels of an organization and should be capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously
- The candidates should have excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills (written, oral, and across Microsoft Office Suite)
- The candidates should be an independent leader with the ability to delve into the details and craft a function against a blank slate without relying on pre-packaged solutions or methodologies
- The candidates should have the ability to build and maintain partnerships within agile pods and within functions across the organization and flexible and creative, capable of adjusting to changing priorities and business challenges
- The candidates should be able to thrive in ambiguity while demonstrating a strong drive for results and adaptability and demonstrate a high degree of independence, resiliency, leadership/ownership, with limited oversight
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to provide strategic insights across a large portfolio
- The candidate should be able to lead critical initiatives aligned with business goals, including Market Landscape analysis, Consumer Targeting & Positioning, Innovation, Renovation, and Communication Evaluation
- The candidate should be able to develop and lead comprehensive research plans for both existing and new products, covering scoping, concept development, screening, optimization, product mentorship, confirmatory testing, and post-launch analysis, as well as packaging graphics and structure, and advertising testing
- The candidate should be able to lead yearly brand situation assessments with research vendors to prepare brand plans and able to craft annual marketing plans for each brand, including strategy development, creative development, and optimization
- The candidate should be able to evaluate the sales impact of media campaigns and recommend optimization strategies to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and Return on Investment
- The candidate should be able to guide product quality and value engineering initiatives by delivering consumer insights and developing action standards/decision criteria and able to contribute to the development of research Best Practices for the organization
- The candidate should be able to work with research vendors to implement Best in Class research approaches for agility, speed, and breakthrough insights
