Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Department store, urban area, relocation costs covered by employer, and retail business
Supervision: Retail salespersons and sales clerks, cashiers, and 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Cosmetics and toiletries, flowers and plants, food and food products, and home electronics

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced environment and comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should demonstrate a keen attention to detail
  • The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced environment, capable of standing for extended periods, and adept at working under pressure
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be known for their hardworking nature, have efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit flexibility in their approach
  • The candidates should be highly organized, reliable in meeting commitments, and team players
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, perform tasks with accuracy, and prioritize client focus

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, assist in the display of merchandise, and greet customers to discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought
  • The candidates should be able to sell merchandise, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and establish work schedules
  • The candidates should be able to authorize the return of merchandise, assign sales workers to duties, and resolve problems such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, as well as hire and train or arrange for the training of staff
