Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Target audience: Persons with a disability, Persons with an intellectual disability and School age (6 – 12 years)
Experience with special needs children: Assistance with mobility
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as part of their work routine
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in adapting to dynamic work situations
- The candidates should show initiative in taking proactive steps to address challenges
- The candidates should demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making

Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, administer medications, and assist clients in water (i.e., pool)
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, feed or assist in feeding, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, personal care, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
