Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the 7Rewards loyalty program
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with applicable laws and requirements relating to food safety
- The candidates should ensure the store is presentable and that all products are in-stock
- The candidates should have ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- The candidates should possess a desire to maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity
- The candidates should have the ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change and have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred, such as Word, Excel)
- The candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, but not required for candidates that have at least one year of retail management experience
- The candidates should hold a valid driver’s license from the province of residence and maintain automobile liability insurance during employment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to maintain positive employee relations and morale by supervising employees and ensuring that Company policies and procedures are being followed and maintained
- The candidates should be able to recruit, interview, and hire employees, ensuring that all aspects of the hiring process are completed, and that the facility is properly staffed
- The candidates should be able to provide effective management of expenses, profits, and losses to ensure the financial stability of the operation
- The candidates should be able to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of facility accounting with weekly and monthly Company reports
- The candidates should be able to ensure prompt and courteous customer service, safe conditions at the facility, and employee supervision
- The candidates should be able to maintain a neat personal appearance in accordance with Company Uniform and Personal Appearance policy
- The candidates should be able to effectively manage the facility by directing sales promotions, implementing new programs, and communicating to vendors, sales reps, and other appropriate personnel on marketing activities
- The candidates should be able to be responsible for ordering and merchandising all authorized merchandise by complying with inventory guidelines
- The candidates should be able to direct and control proper merchandising and follow-through on all sales promotions
- The candidates should be able to provide effective management of two or more specialty food service programs, including supervision of the Food Service Leader
- The candidates should be able to ensure that all food and food preparation maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations
- The candidates should be able to implement and manage security and prevention measures as suggested by the Security Department and Company policies
- The candidates should be able to ensure all personnel are aware of security requirements and that such requirements are administered and followed by all employees at all times
