Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a High School diploma or GED
Experience: Candidates should have at least one year of retail management experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of managing cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting the 7Rewards loyalty program
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- The candidates should ensure the store is presentable and that all products are in-stock
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- The candidates should demonstrate a desire to maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity
- The candidates should possess the ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs and demonstrate the ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with applicable laws and requirements relating to food safety
- The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be proficient in computer knowledge, with Microsoft products preferred, such as Word and Excel
- The candidates should hold a valid driver’s license from the province of residence and maintain automobile liability insurance during employment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to maintain positive employee relations and morale by supervising employees and ensuring that Company policies and procedures are being followed and maintained
- The candidates should be able to recruit, interview, and hire employees; ensure that all aspects of the hiring process are completed, and that the facility is properly staffed
- The candidates should be able to effectively train and develop all employees within the facility; supervise training conducted by Assistant Leader and/or other designee
- The candidates should be able to effectively manage labor hours through proper scheduling
- The candidates should be able to determine and adjust rates of pay for employees at the facility
