Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have previous relevant experience in Sales

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be willing to travel overnight as required, with the amount varying by territory
  • The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record (as this is a company car eligible role)
  • The candidates should demonstrate command of business acumen and strong business intuition, showing discernment that not every sales opportunity is equal, and a track record of securing profitable volume
  • The candidates should have strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous experience utilizing systems for tracking and recording sales, effective business planning, and data-driven strategy for maintaining current and securing new customers
  • The candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbal and written, by effectively presenting, influencing, and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the company’s CRM system
  • The candidates should be able to adapt selling skills to virtual platforms (such as MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meets, and FaceTime) and deliver on those expectations

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to report into the Associate Director, Away From Home (AFH) Planning, Ops, and Field and serve as the Territory Business Manager (“TBM”), a front-line sales role responsible for covering the Southern Ontario geographic market (with a focus on Greater Toronto Area) and driving Kraft Heinz market share & revenue margin
  • The candidates should be able to execute flawlessly against all aspects of the Away From Home TBM playbook and able to drive profitable sales and execution plans with local distributors and operators
  • The candidates should be able to drive penetration of high-priority SKUs (strategic/branded and profit-oriented) and able to identify and manage a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities (distributors and operators) with support of the Sales Ops & Planning team
  • The candidates should be able to own the bottom-up sales planning process for the assigned territory and build effective proposals based on customer needs, insights, and the customer’s decision criteria to drive the annual operating plan
  • The candidates should be able to own the end-to-end selling process – generating interest, establishing commitment to buy, and winning the business
  • The candidates should be able to deliver on assigned distributor & operator revenue targets and able to manage both Trade Budgets tied to both distributors and operators
  • The candidates should be able to manage business and travel budgets and able to complete quarterly & annual priorities (Limited time offer activations, and new innovations)
  • The candidates should be able to support our Sales Ops & Planning team by accurately forecasting business product demands through timely volume submissions
  • The candidates should be able to establish Joint Business Plans with all Distributors and ensure regular JBP reviews and actions are completed
  • The candidates should be able to support the “Order to Cash” process. Assist Customer Service in management of Distributor Orders, aid in resolving Invoice Payment discrepancies/deductions issues
