Location: Banff, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime
Transportation information: Valid driver’s license, Willing to travel regularly.
Work setting: Rural area, Remote location, Various locations, Staff accommodation provided
Type of guide: Driver-guide, local, Walking tour guide
Tours focus: Sightseeing, Walking tours

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Japanese
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work and have attention to detail
  • The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods, walk as required, and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to confirm transportation and accommodation reservations, collect administration or entrance fees, and attend to hotel, airport, train, and other check-in and check-out procedures
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate recreation activities, describe points of interest, and resolve itinerary and other problems
