Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
Experience: Candidates should have Five years of progressive academic administrative experience, including at least 2 years of student advising experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in an office setting, involving extended periods of sitting and computer use
  • The candidates should be able to attend meetings and events on campus

Responsibilities:
  • The candidates should be able to take responsibility for all undergraduate student processes supporting the Department’s large and complex undergraduate program
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Department’s Undergraduate Supervisor under the general supervision of the Departmental Administrator
  • The candidates should be able to provide administrative and advising support for the multiplicity of specific, relatively complex, undergraduate Economics programs
  • The candidates should be able to carry out duties on a work-daily basis with a minimum of supervision
  • The candidates should be able to handle the complexity of Economics programs, including high proportions of structured, core requirements, and multiple associated options
  • The candidates should be able to provide administrative support for the Department’s undergraduate program, including advising in-program and prospective undergraduate students
  • The candidates should be able to administer registrations and graduations in conjunction with the Registrar’s Office
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Undergraduate Supervisor in the smooth operation of the undergraduate program, including development, planning, organization, and promotion of student recruitment and retention initiatives
