Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of three year university degree
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of three years administrative experience in a post secondary setting

  • The candidates should have the ability to organize work, determine priorities, and work under pressure to meet deadlines, as well as adapt to change
  • The candidates should demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently, given the nature of the work

Other Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to administer the B.Cog.Sc and Post-Baccalaureate programs efficiently by managing critical documents and coordinating academic audits
  • The candidates should be able to provide comprehensive support to undergraduate students by responding to inquiries about admissions, course selection, and registration
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Undergraduate Supervisor in advising students on academic matters, ensuring they meet program requirements and progress successfully
  • The candidates should be able to cover duties of the Departmental Administrator and Graduate Administrator during their absence, demonstrating a thorough understanding of their roles and responsibilities
  • The candidates should be able to facilitate smooth departmental operations by handling receptionist duties, managing inquiries, and directing visitors effectively
  • The candidates should be able to take primary responsibility for managing the undergraduate portion of the department’s website, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • The candidates should be able to participate in yearly activities such as orientation and recruitment, contributing to the welcoming and informative experience for incoming students
  • The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to ensure seamless coordination and resolution of issues within the department
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, prioritizing workload
  • The candidates should be able to exhibit adaptability and flexibility to cover various roles within the department as required, contributing to the overall success of undergraduate programs and departmental initiatives
