  • The candidate should have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work as a part of greater lululemon Supply Chain organization and also be able to ensure to fulfill products to guests through various channels including our retail stores and ecommerce.
  • The candidate should have 8-10 years of leadership experience in a Distribution Center or similar environment-preferably in a fast paced, high growth environment and also have 5 years of direct people management experience of hourly employees.
  • The candidate should have experience using automation or MHE (material handling equipment) and also be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The candidate should be proficient with a Warehouse Management System and Labor Management System and also have the ability to effectively communicate with the team and business partners both written and verbally.
  • The candidate should have proven experience leading and implementing process improvements and also have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The candidate should have the ability to handle multiple high priority tasks and also have the ability to travel 1-3 times per year.
  • The candidate should have the ability to meet scheduling needs which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays and also have the ability to maintain a safe work environment.
  • The candidate should be flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime
  • The candidate should be able to acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for life and also possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to direct and oversee an assigned department within the facility and also be responsible for managing the operational performance results of their assigned department
  • The candidate should be able to provide support to the Senior Operations Manager and/or General Manager in creating and implementing department operating and strategic plans and driving continuous improvements and also be responsible for all aspects of talent management for their salaried and hourly direct reports and their results including hiring, training, annual review process, performance management, development and coaching, engagement, off boarding and rewards and recognition.
  • The candidate should be responsible for partnering with Health and Safety, Asset Protection and People and Culture on employee concerns within their department that require escalation and also be responsible for leading weekly and monthly labor and workforce planning for their department
  • The candidate should be responsible for ensuring their department has the right supply levels at the right time and also be responsible for effective communication flow to their supervisors and department.
  • The candidate should be responsible for effective collaboration with all support teams-Health and Safety, Asset Protection, People and Culture, Engineering, IT, Logistics, Network Strategy, Quality, Logistics, Labor Planning, etc and also be responsible for large scope strategic initiatives and projects within their respective department.
  • The candidate should be able to approve termination decisions of hourly employees and take appropriate partnership with People and Culture and also support driving health and safety and labor compliance of the building and ensuring compliance within their department.
  • The candidate should be able to support the driving results of overall employee engagement of the building and ensure engagement is high within their department and also support 3PL relationship management if applicable.
  • The candidate should be able to provide insight and support to the site Leader with AOP (Annual Operation Planning) planning for the department and also be responsible for partnering with DC Workforce Administrators on verifying and approving timekeeping for hourly direct reports including attendance tracking
  • The candidate should be able to support delivering on DC budget targets for their department and also champion and lead through lululemon’s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action) initiatives and values.
