COLDFISH SEAFOODS COMPANY INC. based in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Wholesale buyer. COLDFISH SEAFOODS COMPANY INC. is a certified Marine Stewardship Council fishery, supporting sustainable fishing practices. Our operations are ocean-wise and trace registered. All of our fish are inspected on-site by one of our full-time Quality Control experts at our hygienic, fully-automated plant. Our vessels use hook and line, trap, and dive fisheries out of the Pacific Northwest. We export fresh, frozen, and live seafood and fish worldwide. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to less than 2 years’ experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain contact with suppliers, maintain adequate stock levels
- The candidates should be able to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
- The candidates should be able to oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets, provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, select and purchase merchandise for resale
- The candidates should be able to study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
