Pacific 21 Mercantile Ltd based in Richmond, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Wholesale buyer. Pacific 21 Mercantile Ltd is a fishing farm, providing real atlantic salmon fish. Our products are manufactured in our own plant where from cutting of the fish to packaging of it is done to ensure quality. We ensure quality in our natural and healthy product without any antibiotics or preservative. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. We hire foreign workers to fill labour or skill shortages on a temporary basis. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The shifts the candidate has to work are yet to be determined. This position of Wholesale buyer is approved by LMIA.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to maintain tight deadlines
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client
- The candidate should have an effective interpersonal skills
- The candidate should be able to take initiative
- The candidate should have specialization or experience of buying, market analysis, negotiation and pricing
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to establish and maintain contact with suppliers
- The candidate should be able to maintain adequate stock levels
- The candidate should be able to negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
- The candidate should be able to review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
- The candidate should be able to study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
