Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technologist, or equivalent field experience
Experience: Candidates should have extensive experience in equipment inspection and repair
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience with computerized maintenance systems (SAP), which is an asset
- The candidates should have Lafarge Certified Inspector training or a willingness to attain the same
- The candidates should possess basic knowledge of Industrial Electricity
- The candidates should have knowledge of Predictive Maintenance tools and techniques (Vibration Analysis, Oil Analysis, Ultrasound, Infrared Analysis, etc.)
- The candidates should have knowledge of problem-solving techniques (Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Failure Analysis, etc.)
- The candidates should have experience in developing Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs
- The candidates should have strong computer skills and strong mechanical aptitude
- The candidates should be strong communicators, both orally and in writing
- The candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with plant personnel

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to monitor equipment condition continuously and analyze trends to determine necessary maintenance interventions, focusing on maximizing equipment performance, NAI, MTBF, PRI, and life expectancy while minimizing costs
- The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental policies for maintenance personnel and establish a safety culture during maintenance activities
- The candidates should be able to contribute to plant housekeeping and cleanliness and serve as a role model in safety, environmental stewardship, leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement
- The candidates should be able to ensure regulatory compliance associated with operational duties in consultation with the Environmental Manager
- The candidates should be able to update and create WBI and specific PMRs for new equipment
- The candidates should be able to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance inspections, including formal systematic inspections (PMR) and non-systematic inspections as required
- The candidates should be able to perform condition monitoring measurements after machine repairs and before startup, analyze data, generate trends, and draw conclusions
- The candidates should be able to inform superiors about critical situations and generate notifications related to inspections and data collection
- The candidates should be able to supervise condition monitoring executed by specialized third-party services and ensure correct measurements and conclusions
- The candidates should be able to create and update/revise the condition monitoring chart and yearly program and optimize workload balancing
- The candidates should be able to participate in planning meetings and major shutdown meetings to coordinate jobs with other departments
- The candidates should be able to take care of instruments and tools under their responsibility and report any lost or damaged equipment to the supervisor
- The candidates should be able to ensure tracking of performance indicators and provide regular reports and updates to relevant bodies
- The candidates should be able to coordinate meetings with suppliers to stay updated on new tools and techniques
- The candidates should be able to report to the Reliability Manager, work independently and in small teams, and supervise/coordinate contractors and laborers
- The candidates should be able to work with various departments including Mechanical Planners and Supervisors, Production Managers and Supervisors, Process/Quality department, and Projects team
- The candidates should be able to oversee lubrication & Vibration data collection activities by direct reports and provide a safe working environment for all employees
- The candidates should be able to manage maintenance KPIs such as Aging Notifications, Aging WOs, PMR%, PMR Efficiency, PM02 manual call ratio, and plant KPIs like MTBF and NAI
- The candidates should be able to record and analyze data, initiate work orders, conduct systematic inspections of assigned plant equipment, and ensure quality assurance of execution work
- The candidates should be able to support the plant safety program, document and monitor equipment history files, provide technical support, coach/mentor plant employees, and communicate effectively
- The candidates should be able to play an active role in budget preparation, forecast updating, and compliance, participate in on-call rotation, supervise specific jobs, perform administrative duties, and fulfill assigned tasks efficiently
