Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning
Work site environment: Candidates should work in outdoors and wet/damp area
Security and safety: Criminal record should checked, drug test required and medical exam required
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have First Aid Certificate, Well Service Blowout Prevention Certificate and Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong, a combination of sitting, standing, walking and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be someone who can judge, dependable, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have accuracy and also an excellent oral and written communication
- The candidate should have specialization on oil and gas well drilling and well servicing
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to direct rig crew in setting up rigs and drilling, completing or servicing oil and gas exploration and producing wells and also train or arrange for training of crew
- The candidate should be able to ensure safety procedures are followed, maintain records of drilling and servicing operations and also operate controls of drill or service rig drilling and hoisting machinery
