Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automated production engineering and mechanical engineering
Experience: Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of experience in project management
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be rigorous, structured, and documented in the accomplishment of their work
- The candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec and be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
- The candidates should have experience in AutoCad and SolidWorks and possess good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- The candidates should have knowledge of Quebec RSST and machine safety standards
- The candidates should have knowledge of automation and electrical installation standards
- The candidates should have good communication skills, both oral and written, with clients, management, and colleagues
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to carry out the projects under their responsibility using project management methods, from needs analysis to closure
- The candidates should be able to ensure that the execution of the work under their responsibility is carried out in compliance with the company’s Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and quality standards
- The candidates should be able to write customer requirements, specifications, or technical estimates for various aspects of the projects
- The candidates should be able to coordinate projects related to production and line developments, such as new lines, modifications, or redevelopments
- The candidates should be able to coordinate installation projects to ensure projects are delivered with quality and on time
- The candidates should be able to carry out work follow-ups with customers and various departments
- The candidates should be able to manage and carry out necessary follow-ups for requests from internal teams
- The candidates should be able to update plans using AutoCAD and perform other related tasks
