Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing lean environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to multi-task and pivot as required to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have ERP system experience with an understanding of MRP functionality and be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- The candidates should have strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and procurement processes
- The candidates should have strong collaboration and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- The candidates should have analytical skills, follow-through, and strong attention to detail and be resourceful in problem-solving
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with production and sales teams to develop production schedules that meet customer demand
- The candidates should be able to execute production schedules by releasing job orders and monitoring their progress
- The candidates should be able to plan and purchase raw materials and MRO materials to meet production schedule requirements and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- The candidates should be able to analyze material requirements and provide forecasts to key suppliers and monitor incoming material and resolve material shortages
- The candidates should be able to evaluate and implement inventory management strategies to achieve optimal inventory levels
- The candidates should be able to identify and address slow-moving material and excess material with a goal of increasing inventory turns and reducing DSI
- The candidates should be able to maintain accurate inventory levels, initiate cycle counts as required, and help coordinate annual physical inventory counts and resolve non-conforming raw materials with suppliers
- The candidates should be able to resolve price discrepancies between PO’s and invoices and complete all other tasks
