Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, and make beds and change sheets
- The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock the linen closet, and clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- The candidates should be able to disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, and handle and report lost and found items
- The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls and ceilings
- The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms and showers, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and maintain cleanliness in designated areas if applicable
- The candidates should be able to follow health and safety regulations, use cleaning equipment efficiently, and monitor cleaning supply inventory
- The candidates should be able to respond to emergency situations appropriately, work with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively with clients or team members
- The candidates should be able to adapt to schedule changes, meet physical demands of the job, and complete tasks in a timely and organized manner
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
