Salary: $21.15 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Canmore, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Building operator certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be proficient in performing repetitive tasks efficiently and be physically fit to handle demanding tasks
- The candidates should be capable of safely handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication skills and exhibit excellent written communication abilities
- The candidates should show initiative in their work, exercise good judgment in decision-making, and maintain organization in their work habits
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, contact tradespersons for major repairs, and perform minor repairs on appliances
- The candidates should be able to contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, perform safety and security checks, and supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
