Work setting:Â Warehouse, Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Dollies and hand trucks, Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
Own tools/equipment:Â Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a cold or refrigerated environment, capable of handling heavy loads, and physically fit for the demands of the role
- The candidates should possess strong attention to detail, be able to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be prepared for a large workload
- The candidates should also be able to work effectively under pressure and handle lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate efficiency in their work and be energetic in their approach, maintaining a positive attitude
- The candidates should be goal-oriented, hardworking, quick learners, and known for their dependability
- The candidates should be reliable and strong team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to build pallets, load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- The candidates should be able to pick orders and stock, make labels, attach them to goods, wrap goods, and sort, crate, and stack goods
