Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, or Accounting, or Accounting technology/technician and bookkeeping, or Accounting and finance, or Accounting and business/management
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Accounting
Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software, Caseware/Caseview, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Outlook, and Sage Accounting Software
Credentials: Chartered Accountants (CA) Designation, Charterered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified General Accountants (CGA) – level 2, and Certified General Accountants (CGA) – level 3
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and managing a large workload, possessing attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate and prioritize client focus
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication, as well as demonstrate excellent written communication
  • The candidates should show initiative, exercise good judgment, be organized, and demonstrate reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, set up, and administer accounting systems, train staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls
  • The candidates should be able to prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, prepare financial statements and reports, and recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
  • The candidates should be able to prepare income tax returns from accounting records, analyze financial documents and reports, keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, reconcile accounts, and prepare payroll
