Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should have experience in handling repetitive tasks and demonstrate a keen attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask effectively and demonstrate flexibility in their work approach
  • The candidates should be organized in their work methods and be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, etc., and supervise other workers
  • The candidates should be able to train other workers and record/prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • The candidates should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines, schedule/confirm appointments, and answer the telephone and relay calls/messages
  • The candidates should be able to answer electronic inquiries, compile data/statistics, and order office supplies/maintain inventory
  • The candidates should be able to arrange travel, greet people, and direct them to contacts/service areas
  • The candidates should be able to open/distribute regular and electronic incoming mail, coordinate the flow of information, and set up/maintain filing systems
  • The candidates should be able to type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
