A-1 Development Inc. is known to build wood trusses for contractors and residents of the Vancouver Lower Mainland area. Our company is one of the oldest truss companies serving the region. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 3-5 years
Supervision: 5-10 people
Computer and Technology Knowledge:
Architectural software programs, AutoCAD
Architectural Specialisation: New construction, Commercial, Interior and space planning, Residential construction
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- The candidate should be able to work with tight deadlines and pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be able to distinguish between colors
- The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate and be able to work with being focused on the client
- The candidate should have judgement skills and be able to work in an organized way
The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered
- The candidate should have project management skills
- The candidate should be able to conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules also construction site supervision
- The candidate should be able to prepare sketches and models, architectural research also prepare or supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons
- The candidate should be able to staff recruitment and selection also feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects
- The candidate should have skills to supervision of technologists, technicians and other architects
- The candidate should be able to estimate costs also prepare bidding documents, participate in contract negotiations and award construction contracts
- The candidate should be able to Proposal preparation, Specification writing also Interior design (general)
- The candidate should be able to monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications
- The candidate should be able to conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects
