Transportation information: Own transportation

Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Sales
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system, MS Outlook
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smokers and comfortable working in an air-conditioned environment
  • The candidates should have meticulous attention to detail and be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be familiar and comfortable with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should have the ability to lift loads up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

  • The candidates should maintain a positive attitude in the workplace and demonstrate effective time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage staff and assign duties, perform opening and closing activities, and operate a cash register
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, offer customer service, and advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease
  • The candidates should be able to prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts, and accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment
  • The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control and assist in the display of merchandise
