Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have have extensive experience in gathering and interpreting data

  • The candidates should demonstrate an ability to think critically, solve problems, and make informed data-driven decisions
  • The candidates should exhibit proficiency in Excel
  • The candidates should be familiar with data analytics tools such as KNIME

  • The candidates should have the ability to create compelling slides and presentation decks to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner

  • The candidates should have experience managing workstreams or key deliverables within a project plan
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is desirable
  • The candidates should have experience in facilitating workshops or meetings to gather requirements and drive future-state process improvements
  • The candidates should have an understanding of change management principles and the ability to support the implementation of new processes and systems
  • The candidates should thrive in a team environment by contributing to a shared team purpose, celebrating team achievements, and maintaining a positive working relationship with other team members (both on the direct team and client teams)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the creation and maintenance of the pricing strategy for CTR as part of the Pricing Strategy & Capabilities team
  • The candidates should be able to actively participate in the build and maintenance of capabilities that bring the pricing strategy to life at our stores
  • The candidates should be able to recognize the importance of establishing a pricing strategy for Canadian Tire, understanding its direct impact on profitability, customer perception, and market competitiveness
  • The candidates should be able to work towards achieving a cohesive, consistent, and codified pricing strategy that determines the right balance between maximizing revenue, attracting new customers to the Triangle, and maintaining loyalty among existing customers
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to long-term business sustainability and success by ensuring the pricing strategy aligns with the overall goals of the organization
  • The candidates should be able to create a strategy framework that can be applied to all categories across the organization
  • The candidates should be able to collect, enhance, and productionize data required for providing data-driven price recommendations
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with a 3rd party consulting firm to create a model generating data-driven price recommendations and a user interface for intuitive interaction
  • The candidates should be able to participate in various ongoing test & learn initiatives aimed at gaining a clearer understanding of how the Dealer network, customers, and markets react to changes in price
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the modernization of existing pricing-related capabilities, ensuring they are scalable to future needs
  • The candidates should be able to manage a workstream or key deliverable within the project plan, along with associated project management activities such as creating a schedule, establishing milestones, identifying cross-functional requirements, building implementation plans, and identifying risks
  • The candidates should be able to conduct interviews with various business stakeholders across the organization to identify, understand, and document current state practices
  • The candidates should be able to actively support the development of, participate in, and lead workshops or meetings required to build out future-state requirements
  • The candidates should be able to compile learnings and analysis into actionable recommendations that will inform our Pricing Strategy
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders to assess proposed processes and tools in terms of organizational & process impacts, costs and benefits, risks and dependencies, and critical success factors
  • The candidates should be able to create slides and presentation decks, as well as present the content to large audiences across many levels of the organization
  • The candidates should be able to support Change Management by providing visibility to the future state processes and changes
