Salary: $24.00 to $26.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Type of materials: Aluminum alloys, Composite materials, Copper and copper alloys, Nickel alloys, Non-ferrous materials, Non-metallic materials, Stainless steel, Steel, iron and heavy metal
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Welding techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Plasma arc welding (PAW), ARC spot
Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine, Gas welding machine
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and repetitive taskers
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy area, in odors, outdoors, in dusty area, and in hot area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, flexible, and able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, use computer-aided design (CAD), and fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
- The candidates should be able to operate oxygen arc-cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC).
- The candidates should be able to determine the weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- The candidates should be able to operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
- The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
