Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should hold a university degree
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of professional experience in the investment industry

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be holders of a Registered Representative (RR) license with IIROC (i.e., CSC, CPH, and WME)
  • The candidates should possess a financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning
  • The candidates should be bilingual (English and French) to serve our clients in the community with English-speaking needs
  • The candidates should demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps
  • The candidates should exhibit meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to support the advisory team and clients through the wealth management process by gathering relevant information, documents, and questionnaires
  • The candidates should be able to prepare wealth and financial projections using wealth management and financial advice tools to provide a holistic view of client goals, priorities, and opportunities
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate activities with wealth management and insurance specialists and in-branch consultants, including scheduling, tracking progress, and following up
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with the branch management team for updates on and progress with wealth management initiatives
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate meetings and events with clients and prospects, including helping determine agenda and key topics, preparing documentation, and executing post-meeting work
  • The candidates should be able to provide proactive and high-end client service on the phone and in person, responding to client inquiries
  • The candidates should be able to identify opportunities for new business as well as among the existing client base for asset consolidation or referrals
