Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 38 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend
Work setting: Warehouse, Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, Uniform
Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to or more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work at noisy area, outdoors, heights, dusty area, cold/refrigerated area, and confined spaces
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be adaptable, collaborative, efficient, energetic, reliable, hardworking, and should have positive attitude, time management skills, excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
- The candidates should be able to ship orders, pick orders and stock, weigh materials and goods, make labels and attach to goods
- The candidates should be able to wrap goods, pack and unpack goods, sort, crate and stack goods, install, lash and secure goods
- The candidates should be able to store cargo and materials, transport and distribute materials and goods, organize and maintain inventory
