Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs, and willing to work evening and/or night shifts and work in a fast-paced work environment
- The candidates should be comfortable working mainly indoors in a warehouse or shop environment, with occasional outdoor work
- The candidates should be able to work in varying temperatures when outdoors, including exposure to hot and cold conditions
- The candidates should be willing to wear a UPS Auto Mechanic uniform and comply with the company’s Appearance Guidelines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have maintain essential trade tools and equipment, present a clean driver’s abstract/record obtained no more than one month before the interview date, showing, No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months), No accidents and a maximum of 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
- The candidates should have demonstrate strong organizational skills, showcase strong troubleshooting skills and pass a pre-employment road test
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to repair, inspect, and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG, and gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner
- The candidates should be able to operate and test company vehicles within UPS facilities and on public roads to ensure proper functionality and safety
