Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have availability to attend and successfully pass a five (5) to six (7) week full-time paid training program
  • The candidates should have availability to work in shifts and demonstrate proven problem resolution skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • The candidates should have the ability to work within strict timelines to ensure on-time departures and be eligible to work in Canada

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have previous customer service experience and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The candidates should be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations as outlined by Transport Canada
  • The candidates should note that bilingual abilities in English and French will be prioritized. Strong consideration will also be given to candidates fluent in English and one or more of the preferred languages: Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Portuguese, Greek, Hindi, or Punjabi

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to conduct customer check-in and prepare and issue boarding passes
  • The candidates should be able to assist pre-boarding customers by providing information on flight schedules and routes
  • The candidates should be able to assist customers requiring special assistance throughout their journey, ensuring their timely and safe transport to designated gates or baggage claims
  • The candidates should be able to actively move throughout the airport to attend to the assigned work area
