Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of 2-year diploma in Business Administration, Analytics, Information Management and Reporting
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of relevant experience in areas such as data analytics, database mining, data visualization, research, report writing, communications, or project management

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Information Management, Reporting, or a related program and at least 3 years of related experience in areas such as data analytics, database mining, data visualization, research, report writing, communications, or project management
  • The candidates should have intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • The candidates should have experience or certifications in the following areas Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP), Records Management, CSR (Advanced user) and processing Service Requests; Animal Chameleon, Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting tool, Policy and Procedure Management (PPM), Intermediate database mining knowledge, Project Management Certificate, Certificate in Conflict Management or Negotiation Skills, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or similar certification, Tableau, ESRI, GIS, or other visual data preparation tools
  • The candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently to make decisions and resolve issues, and the ability to deal with sensitive information
  • The candidates should have the ability to create and maintain positive and sustainable working relationships and provide proof of qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to act as a subject matter expert on the processes and systems associated with the 311 intake and associated service delivery functions that support EMCS
  • The candidates should be able to identify requirements for new or enhanced intake or service delivery processes and work with 311 and EMCS to design, develop, and test the new service request or service delivery workflows
  • The candidates should be able to monitor the compliance of 311 agents and EMCS staff to system workflows and provide feedback to update their records to improve data quality and service delivery standards
  • The candidates should be able to work with Learning and Development staff to create training materials for new processes and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to provide business analysis and subject matter expert input to support the implementation of new systems, processes, or strategic initiatives
  • The candidates should be able to mine data and develop reports to provide insights on business performance and trends, and analyze information collected to make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • The candidates should be able to collect and publish information to citizens through open data platforms
  • The candidates should be able to deliver presentations to EMCS operational leaders and front-line service teams
