Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning, 06:00 to 15:30
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Mandarin and Cantonese
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in hot conditions, maintaining productivity while adhering to safety guidelines, and be capable of performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency, ensuring quality standards are met
- The candidates should exhibit meticulous attention to detail, maintaining precision and thoroughness in all aspects of their work, and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary to complete tasks effectively
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and demands, and be prepared for physically demanding work, demonstrating stamina and endurance to meet job requirements
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as part of their job responsibilities, and be capable of lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required by the nature of the role
- The candidates should be able to work in wet or damp conditions as needed, following safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently fulfilling their duties and commitments to contribute to team success, and be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives and foster a positive work environment
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should have food safety/handling skills and be able to feed and unload processing machines, as well as clean machines and immediate work areas
