Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate should be able to operate a cash register
• The candidate should be able to do suggestive selling
• The candidate should be able to process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
• The candidate should be able to scan items
• The candidate should be able to tabulate the total payment for goods or services required
• The candidate should be able to receive payment for goods or services
• The candidate should be able to calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile them with total sales
• The candidate should be able to stock shelves and clean the counter area
• The candidate should be able to greet customers
• The candidate should be able to participate in promotional activities
• The candidate should be able to verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
