Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, child abuse registry check, and child welfare check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining productivity and focus, while working under pressure, managing stress, and meeting deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, ensuring endurance and strength throughout their shift

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with others, and possess excellent oral communication skills, clearly conveying information and ideas
  • The candidates should demonstrate good judgement, making informed and thoughtful decisions, and have a strong client focus, prioritizing and addressing client needs and concerns effectively
  • The candidates should possess excellent written communication skills, crafting clear and professional written documents, and be flexible, adapting to changing situations and requirements as needed
  • The candidates should show initiative, proactively identifying and addressing opportunities and challenges, and be a team player, contributing positively to team dynamics and collaborative efforts

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services and develop, coordinate, and implement the delivery of these services within the community
  • The candidates should be able to provide suicide and crisis intervention, resolve conflict situations, and implement behavior management programs
  • The candidates should be able to supervise the activities of clients living in group homes and halfway houses, liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers involved with clients, and assist clients/guests with special needs
  • The candidates should be able to accompany clients to appointments and social outings
