Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education:Â Candidates should have successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience working in a client service environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing and able to examine documents that may contain disturbing and/or offensive information
- The candidates should be prepared to provide proof of education later in the process

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to process incoming and outgoing mail for the Parole Board of Canada’s office and analyze, code, and index incoming documents
- The candidates should be able to create, maintain, transfer, and control physical and electronic case records, including files and audio/video cassettes and conduct file inspections to ensure that files are complete and records are correctly classified
- The candidates should be able to process applications, waivers, withdrawals, and parole reports, amend reviews, and perform data entry and schedule reviews upon receipt of applications
- The candidates should be able to forward electronic documents to Board Members and proofread, save, and distribute printed decisions and respond to letters from offenders and supporters of offenders
- The candidates should be able to process requests for audio recordings from offenders and act as a liaison with the Correctional Service of Canada staff
- The candidates should be able to provide communication services about conditional release, victims’ services, and record suspensions
- The candidates should be able to coordinate the regional observer program at hearings
- The candidates should be able to maintain an electronic victim database and produce and process statistics in coordination with case files
- The candidates should be able to distribute public education resource material
