Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead a team of client-facing employees within the banking center, as well as other banking centers within the community, as a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team
  • The candidates should be able to excel in understanding what is important for clients and ensure the provision of advice and appropriate products and solutions to meet clients’ goals
  • The candidates should be able to build a capable and motivated team through proactive talent management as a Community General Manager (CGM)
  • The candidates should be able to create a positive work environment, ensure effective operations, processes, controls, and compliance, and promote CIBC to build a strong reputation in the community
  • The candidates should be able to deliver superior client experiences and foster CIBC growth that exceeds peers
  • The candidates should be able to lead by example and demonstrate to their team how to deepen relationships and meet client financial needs while providing a high standard of service, adhering to the experience principles: Always Professional, Radically Simple, and Genuinely Caring

  • The candidates should be able to provide meaningful development opportunities for employees and challenge individuals at all levels to reconsider their approach to business
