Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of 4 years of University training such as  Business, Engineering or related discipline
Experience: Candidates should have experience of the electrical power system operational requirements, policies, practices and procedures governing transmission/distribution/information

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience to be familiar with the scope and responsibilities of Project/Program Manager, transmission and distribution facilities, organization and operation of related work groups
  • The candidates should possess engineering knowledge of electrical power systems and facilities related to transmission/distribution/information system assets, mathematics, and information technology to assist in carrying out theoretical, economic, and engineering analytical studies related to the application, design, and performance of the transmission/distribution/information systems
  • The candidates should have knowledge of technical writing to prepare effective reports and have good communication skills to prepare and deliver effective presentations and have the ability to function effectively as a team member with a demonstrated ability to be an agent of change
  • The candidates should be capable of gathering and providing information or data for proposals and plans, exchanging this information with Independent Market Operator, Marketplace Participants, external Service Providers, and Vendors
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in a busy environment with competing and changing priorities and limited supervision, requiring planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning, and monitoring the quality and quantity of work
  • The candidates should have experience in project management and a demonstrated ability to work and lead in an environment requiring interface with subject matter experts from across all Lines of Business (LoBs)
  • The candidates should possess demonstrated strong organization and planning skills and team player skills and have a strong working knowledge of Sharepoint, Microsoft Office (Visio/Excel/Word/PowerPoint), and SAP

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with Service Providers, multiple Line of Business Stakeholders, and Supply Chain to develop and tender contracts related to major projects and programs, with a focus on contract administration and framework
  • The candidates should be able to support and maintain contract-related documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness and able to assist in troubleshooting and resolving contract-related problems related to the design and execution of major projects, providing effective solutions to ensure project success
  • The candidates should be able to support the development and management of contractor scope of work tendering and execution of projects related to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, whether Construct or Design Only
  • The candidates should be able to conduct Operations research, technical, economic, business, regulatory impact assessments, and other specialized technical/business studies to determine distribution customer needs, analyze problems, develop strategies, alternatives, and preferred solutions, and facilitate delivery of solutions through suppliers and service providers
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and control programs and projects, coordinating activities with Service Providers and Stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and able to prepare comprehensive reports and specifications, presenting recommendations to resolve issues and producing necessary documentation to support decision-making
  • The candidates should be able to participate in the development, definition, and preparation of programs, processes, technical, operational, and business standards, procedures, or methods related to the management of transmission/distribution assets, including risk management and costing
  • The candidates should be able to monitor service provider performance and provide redirection as required to ensure quality and efficiency and able to contribute to the development of the business plan and regulatory submissions, providing valuable insights and recommendations
  • The candidates should be able to maintain awareness of advancing technology developments in distribution equipment and systems, staying informed of industry trends and best practices
