MINT LEAF SWEETS & RESTAURANT is home to much-celebrated multi-cuisine and fine-dining specialty restaurant in Canada. We have successfully maintained utmost consistency in its hospitality as well as food quality and taste experience the true taste of experience. We are a team of dedicated chefs to break away, research, and experiment with a whole host of seasonal ingredients and techniques that draw out the best in cuisines. We hire foreign workers to fill labour or skill shortages on a temporary basis. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. This position of Cook is approved by LMIA.

Job Description:

Position: Cook
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $16.50hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Caledon, ON

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work overtime, under pressure, in fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, perform repetitive tasks and also stand for extended periods
  • The candidate should be physically strong

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in an organized way


  • The candidate should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food and also manage kitchen operations
  • The candidate should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods and also prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • The candidate should be able to plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies and also organize and manage buffets and banquets
