Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: On-site customer service

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification

Physical Requirements:

  • The work environment may be noisy, hot, cold/refrigerated, and may have odors
  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
  • The job may involve physically demanding tasks and handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity are required for the job

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, accuracy, and dependability in their attendance and task completion
  • The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and service delivery
  • The candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to measure, lay out reference points, prepare tenders and quotations, and assemble components for installation
  • The candidates should be able to coach apprentices, measure, cut, and connect piping, and provide customer service during installation
  • The candidates should be able to start up systems, test for leaks, recharge refrigerant, interpret gas codes, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul systems, handle refrigerants, read blueprints, and perform routine maintenance
