Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed a Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (e.g., Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
Experience: Candidates should have 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates must be able to work all business hours

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should hold a valid Mutual Funds accreditation such as Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
  • The candidates should possess digital literacy across a broad range of devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
  • The candidates should have fluency in a second language is preferred
  • The candidates should be actively involved in the local community, developing a solid network within it

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to communicate with clients to learn about their needs and help them achieve their goals
  • The candidates should be able to provide professional advice and education with an ability to address complex credit and investment needs, concerning both personal and business needs
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to ensure clients receive customized and targeted expert advice
  • The candidates should be able to leverage technology to deliver on client experience and drive sales and retention
  • The candidates should be able to proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client’s banking problems
  • The candidates should be able to implement contact and relationship building strategies and support new client acquisition in the local community
  • The candidates should be able to educate clients of the features and benefits RBC products and services offer and help clients with digital banking, including mobile, ATM, and online banking
