Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: High-rise building construction sites and various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Climbing crane (fixed or limited mobility) and conventional cable crane (tracked)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, adapting to varying weather conditions and environmental challenges
- The candidates should be experienced and at ease working at heights, demonstrating adherence to safety protocols
- The candidates should be familiar with working in confined spaces, displaying agility and composure in such environments, and able to work in noisy conditions while maintaining focus and communication efficiency
- The candidates should be accustomed to dusty work environments, implementing appropriate safety measures and precautions
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure, delivering results with composure and efficiency, and be physically fit to handle demanding tasks, ensuring the ability to meet the job’s physical requirements
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity, exhibiting precision and skill in handling tools and equipment, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail for accuracy and quality in their work
- The candidates should have strong hand-eye coordination, facilitating efficient and precise task execution, and be comfortable sitting for extended periods when required by the nature of the work

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials and operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments for waterways
- The candidates should be able to clean, lubricate cranes, and assemble tower cranes on-site
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices and perform routine maintenance work, including pre-operational inspection and calculating crane capacities for rigging and hoisting
