Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register and Interact machine

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in noisy environments

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability and exhibit dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments
  • The candidates should display maturity in handling various situations and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate a cash register efficiently during transactions and process various forms of payment, including cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments accurately
  • The candidates should be able to scan items quickly and accurately during the checkout process and receive payment for goods or services promptly, providing correct change if necessary
  • The candidates should be able to stock shelves and maintain a clean counter area to ensure a tidy and organized store environment, while also greeting customers warmly and assisting them with any inquiries or requests, providing excellent customer service to address customer needs and concerns effectively
