Salary: $38.50 hourly / 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Brampton, ON
Supervision: Bricklayers, cement finishers, tilesetters, painters and decorators, floor covering installers, plasterers, drywall installers and finishers, roofers
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, showcasing adaptability to various outdoor environments
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments, demonstrating the ability to focus and perform tasks effectively despite noise levels
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, demonstrating resilience and a calm demeanor in challenging situations
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare production and other reports, supervise workers and projects, and coordinate and schedule activities
- The candidates should be able to recruit and hire workers, carry out related staffing actions, and train or arrange for training
- The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and recommend personnel actions
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints and drawings, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and lead/instruct individuals
- The candidates should be able to provide construction site supervision, resolve work problems, and recommend measures to improve productivity
