Salary: $17.00 to $18.50 hourly for 35 to 42 hours per week

Location: 1400 Upper James St., Hamilton, ON, L9B 1K3
Shifts: Day, 09:00 to 17:00
Work Setting: Public sector and business sector

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of more than one language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Computer and Technology Knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Word processing software, MS Excel, MS Word, Internet and MS Windows
Type of data entry: Alpha-numeric
Keystrokes per hour: 0 – 10,000 sph

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment
  • The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail
  • The candidate should be able to sit

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to receive and register documents for data entry
  • The candidate should be able to perform general office duties
  • The candidate should be able to enter data according to specified format
  • The candidate should be able to verify accuracy and completeness of data
  • The candidate should be able to store, update and maintain databases
