Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: PowerBuilder, Shell script, Linux, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Database software, MS Office, SQL, and Electronic mail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, have efficient interpersonal skills, and show initiative
- The candidates should be organized, be team players, and be adaptable
- The candidates should be accountable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement a strategic blueprint to follow when deploying databases within their organization, develop and maintain computer databases, and document reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals
- The candidates should be able to enact measures to ensure unauthorized users cannot access the data, liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability, and provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools
- The candidates should be able to set up the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases, test data models and database management systems, and design and develop databases
- The candidates should be able to operate database management systems to analyze data, develop and implement data administration policy, standards, and models, and research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy, and data access rules
- The candidates should be able to develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data, and write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers
