Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Willing to travel for extended periods, Valid driver’s licence, Travel expenses paid by employer

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Transportation/travel experience: Local, Regional, Provincial/territorial
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Cellular phone
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and work overtime as required
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and stay organized
• The candidate should be reliable and work effectively as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products and demonstrate professionalism in customer service
• The candidates should be able to keep a record of items received and delivered and load and unload goods
• The candidates should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids and record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
• The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
