Brunswick Square Dental based in Saint John, NB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Dental office receptionist. Brunswick Square Dental is providing excellent dental care in a comfortable and relaxed setting. We are a “Complete Health Office” This means that we look at the Oral-Systemic Overall Health and how mouth affects the rest of body. We provide services for patients of all ages, from young children experiencing their first dental visit (We proudly supply the “First Visit Certificate”) to teens, adults and seniors. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Transportation information: The candidates should have own transport
Work setting: Private sector, Urban area, Health care institution, facility or clinic


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic medical records, Electronic scheduler, Word processing software, Electronic mail, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Windows
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be flexible, organized, reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player


  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public
  • The candidates should be able to obtain and process information required to provide services, record and relay information
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, send invoices, receive and issue payments
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to calculate billing charges


  • The candidates will get health care plan, bonus, group insurance benefits
