Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an assetÂ
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently, while being prepared for physically demanding work as part of the job
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their tasks, and be adaptable to different positions, as the job may involve a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary for the role, and possess manual dexterity, capable of handling tasks that require precise hand movements and coordination

- The candidates should be reliable, consistently delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines, and be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals, while upholding strong values and ethics, demonstrating integrity and honesty in their actions and decisions

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, while engaging in storytelling and leading activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to provide opportunities for children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, as well as guide and assist them in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, establish guidelines for behavior, and assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children while discussing progress or problems with parents and other staff members
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children, as well as plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
