Arlington Orchards Inc is a prominent fruit orchard and agritourism destination on Prince Edward Island. Specializing in the cultivation of apples and other fruits, Arlington Orchards offers visitors the opportunity to pick their own fresh produce during the harvest season. With a focus on sustainable farming practices and organic methods, the orchard ensures the highest quality fruits while preserving the natural environment. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Richmond, PE
Shifts: Day, Weekend, 08:00 to 17:00
Transportation information: Own transportation and Public transportation is not available
Work setting: Rural area
Type of crops: Apples and Orchard fruit
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and be capable of working at heights
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be familiar with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads, possess physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination, and be able to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking

- The candidates should exhibit sound judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their work
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues
- The candidates should uphold strong values and ethics
- The candidates should be quick learners, able to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities efficiently
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
