Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Mandarin
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Teacher training or certification
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Medical exam

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess children’s development and prepare a tailored learning plan to meet individual needs
- The candidates should be able to assist co-workers in housekeeping, cooking duties, and maintaining a clean, organized environment
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment for safety and functionality
- The candidates should be able to engage children in storytelling activities to stimulate imagination and language skills
- The candidates should be able to synthesize children’s overall situation and communicate relevant information to parents effectively
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators in comprehensive program delivery promoting children’s development
- The candidates should be able to lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest to encourage exploration
- The candidates should be able to order supplies efficiently for child-care programs.
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping accurate records of children’s progress and activities
- The candidates should be able to encourage children’s creativity through various media such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits with patience and encouragement
- The candidates should be able to prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a comfortable environment
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed
- The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children for evaluation and planning by early childhood educators or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to discuss progress and problems of children collaboratively at staff meetings
- The candidates should be able to establish guidelines for behavior promoting a positive and respectful environment
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships supporting children’s holistic development with co-workers and community service providers
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children in child-care settings
- The candidates should be able to plan and organize enriching activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
- The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants to ensure effective program delivery and care for children.
