Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of an accredited nursing education program
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • The candidates have a current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
  • The candidates should complete following free courses if have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, CRNA Medication Management – Chapters 1 – 4 and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification

  • The candidates should be able to provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations
  • The candidates should be able to take necessary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of patients
  • The candidates should be able to utilize nursing processes through critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • The candidates should be able to teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families
  • The candidates should be able to play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance
  • The candidates should be able to provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care
  • The candidates should be able to reflect the shared vision and values of AHS

Benefits:
